Here’s a little more about me. I’ve been a financial advisor for the better part of 2 decades. When I’m not working with individuals, families, or businesses to reach their financial goals, I can usually be found volunteering throughout the community, especially at my children’s school. I’m the proud mom of 2 very active young men, aged 7 and 4. My husband (aka my own Prince Charming) is a general contractor and owner of Emmons Construction. Needless to say, we are very busy folks! I deal with the hills and valleys probably about as well as anyone although some days are tougher than others. I’m currently working on the best version of me. Each day, I’m realizing that there are other plans that have been created for me long ago. Although I’m not anywhere close to knowing the final results, I’m being drawn every day to try new things and spread my wings. This site is dedicated to cataloging this journey to the best me.
My personal topics of interest are deep and wide, so you never know what you’ll see here. I am an optimist and I like to see the positives in people and situations so most of my posts will honor that perspective. I am a Christian so you’ll see verses referenced at the end of each post as that is where I center myself. I hope that’s not offensive to you but if it is, simply don’t click on the link!
